How To Enter & Win
Below are the general rules for entering an in house contest. These explain how to enter and the prizes available for each unique contest, unless something different is stated on the contest page. Please refer back to the contest page for the details needed to complete your video and be eligible to win. You might want to print this page so you can check off the required elements as you go. Required for each Contest Entry!
1. Please read the full Video Contest Rules!
2. Submit your Best, Funniest, Whatever Video as a Video Response on YouTube to the Video indicated.
This should be a new video… not an already posted one, unless you are posting an updated version with zero views.
3. Be sure your video has a Watermark and/or Opening and Closing Credits visibly showing.
This step is mostly for video embedded on 3rd party sites. Until the contest concludes, there will be a special landing page in place designed to still give the referring video creator credit for any referrals. Do not use the domain.com/username convention shown for the description text.
4. Put the Description Leading Text at the very top of the description field of your video.
Be careful to type your YouTube Username exactly… or the clicks may not be counted to help you win that category!
5. Video Title
Do NOT include “Contest Entry” in your title.
Try to use keyword accurate phrases. Use the Related Keyword Phrases to help you brainstorm your title. Try to use one of the phrases or some variation appropriate for your video.
Your title must be accurate! Any title “bait-n-switch” will disqualify your videos and could eliminate you from future contests.
So, don’t say “Fat Kid on Skateboard Dies” for a video for a contest… it may get you a lot of views, but it won’t win you anything.
6. Fill in the Video Description and Video Tags with related text and tags accurate to your video. Again, you might want to use the Related Keyword Phrases to help you brainstorm. Do NOT post entire keyword lists to your description! Use a reasonable amount of key phrases appropriate to your video and try to work them in to your description text.

Please comment this video!
2. Use the “more share options” link right below the videoon YouTube and post a snippet to Twitter, Digg, Myspace, Facebook, and any other Social Media site at which you have an account.
3. Encourage your viewers to post snippets to Twitter, Digg, Myspace, Facebook, or any other Social Media Site. Again, you can use annotations OR put it in the video description… just make sure it is below the required text shown above.
4. Have a blog? Post it there and encourage your readers to rate, favorite, comment.
5. Subscribe to our YouTube Channel Your Video Contests on YouTube… you will get notice of future contests where you can win even more money!

Ways You Can Win…

For each of the following we will be awarding $100… up to $500 total if you win them all!
Do not look at “most viewed”, “most rated”, etc below and think you are out of it! Obviously, we are only judging entries to our contest and “most viewed” could mean a little as 1000 views… so it is not that hard to win. Of course, we have no idea until the submissions start coming in, so we can’t say, but it is not as hard as it sounds.
1. Be the Most Viewed Video.
2. Be the Highest and Most Rated Video.
(So, a video rated 5 Stars with 200 ratings beats a video rated 5 stars with 199 ratings.)
3. Be the Most Rated Video.
(So, a video rated 4 stars with 300 ratings would beat 5 stars with 200 ratings.)
4. Drive the most clicks through the link in the video description. (our system tracks this)
5. Have the Most Commented Video.
