Below are the Full Terms and Conditions of participating in an in-house online video contest being managed directly by YourVideoContests.com There may be additional terms/rules/conditions for each unique contest within the contest description page. Your participation in any contest constitutes your full agreement to our terms. These terms do not apply to contests being held by 3rd parties that are only listed on, but not managed by YourVideoContests.com
You agree to only use Original Content to which you hold a copyright and/or content that is used well within the US Fair Use copyright standard.
When using Stock Images, be sure you are using images that really are royalty free, model released, and approved for commercial use and redistribution by us.
When using Music or Audio from other sources, be sure it really is Copyright/Royalty Free or falls under Fair Use and approved for commercial use and redistribution by us.
Worldwide participation is allowed as long as the video in in English and you can accept and cash a check drawn on USD funds. Also, please see next rule…
Please be sure our contest does not violate any laws, rules, ordinances, etc wherever you are submitting from… if it does, please do not submit! We cannot possibly keep up on all the rules world wide… it is your responsibility and liability for any violations rest with you.
Payments will be made via mailed check drawn on USD funds. Mailing will occur within 2 weeks of contest completion.
Just by submitting your video to our contest you are immediately granting our company lifetime, non-exclusive, irrevocable rights to use, edit, repackage, and republish your video as we wish with or without credit back to you. In fact, it is to be expected that we will use every video submitted for our own video accounts across multiple worldwide video sharing sites… at the very least. Also, we may convert your video audio to text for our own purposes.
You agree that in order to claim any prize, you will be required to submit your Legal Name, Phone Number, Physical Address, Birth Date, and Email address.
You agree that your winnings are probably taxable and it is up to you to claim this on your tax returns. You further understand that if you win above $600 in a calendar year, then we are obligated to issue you a 1099 and report it to the IRS.
You agree our company assumes no liability for your video and we are to be held harmless in any copyright or any other dispute arising from your video. In fact, if anyone comes after us for your video, then you can expect it will fall back on you.
Please NO cussing, nudity, cruelty, ludeness, etc, etc, etc. Try to keep it G or PG rated at most.
Our staff can reject, disqualify, or ignore any submission for any reason whatsoever.
Our staff has the final say on who are the winners.
These terms may be modified at any time without notice.
